Our surgeons can provide surgical and wound care services to the Hospice patient, providing palliative in-home care while promoting comfort, decreasing pain, and minimizing the risk of infection. This assists the hospice goal of patient comfort in their final days.
Your agency incurs no cost for this service. Wound-related conditions are rarely a terminal diagnosis; therefore, ASWC's services are covered by Medicare Part B or other appropriate payor sources outside of the Hospice bundled payment.
